About Us

Mike & Sue, husband-and-wife travel advisors, designing the trips you’ll still be talking about a decade from now.

Bucket-List Destinations

From Disney and luxury cruises to private castle tours in France, we design the trips people talk about for years, not just the ones they book and forget.

Two Advisors, All In

Mike handles cruises, resorts, and group travel; Sue designs custom European itineraries. However you want to travel, one of us has already mapped it out.

Insider Perks

Supplier-only promotions, room upgrades, and amenities you simply can’t unlock booking it yourself online. We ask for them so you don’t have to.

Free Expert Guidance

Our advice costs you nothing; we’re paid by our travel partners, not by you. You get real support, especially when something goes sideways mid-trip.

Quick FAQs

What kinds of trips do you book?
Everything from Disney, river, ocean, and luxury cruises to all-inclusive resorts, group travel, sports getaways, and custom multi-country European itineraries — plus milestone celebrations, girls’ trips, and family reunions.

Does it cost extra to use a travel advisor?
No — our services are free to you. We’re paid by the travel suppliers, not out of your pocket.

Why should I book with you instead of doing it myself online?
You get insider access, supplier-only promotions, and a real human who picks up the phone if something goes sideways mid-trip. Sites like Expedia sell you a transaction; we design a trip.

Our Team

Who We Are

Mike Nelson

Mike is a retired master plumber, and thirty-plus years of reading blueprints, thinking three steps ahead, and staying calm under pressure taught him exactly how to run complex logistics smoothly. He now brings that same precision to cruises (Disney, river, ocean, and luxury), all-inclusive getaways, group travel, and sports adventures; the trips where he makes sure every transfer, reservation, and excursion simply shows up on time.

Sue Nelson

Sue is a senior HR leader of twenty-plus years, and two decades spent reading what people really want, managing complex logistics, and navigating rooms where everyone needs something different turned out to be near-perfect training for bespoke travel design. She specializes in slow, immersive, multi-country European travel; the kind of trip with pasta-making lessons from an Italian grandmother, private castle tours in France, and unhurried weeks on the Greek islands most people skip.

SOME INSIGHTS

Our Story

Began decades ago…

We’re Mike and Sue, and between us we’ve spent four decades in professions that turn out to be excellent training for travel planning — though it took a minute to realize it.

Mike is a retired master plumber. Thirty-plus years of reading blueprints, thinking three steps ahead, and keeping his cool when something leaked at 2am taught him how complex systems actually work, and how to calmly sort them out when they don’t. He now applies all of that to cruises (Disney, river, ocean, luxury; hello, Mickey and ocean breeze), all-inclusive getaways, group travel, and sports adventures. If you want a trip where every transfer, dinner reservation, and excursion simply shows up where it’s supposed to, Mike is your person.

Sue is a senior HR leader of twenty-plus years. Two decades of hearing what people really want before they can articulate it, managing logistics for entire workforces, and handling the conversations where everyone in the room needs something slightly different turned out to be almost the exact job description of a bespoke travel advisor. She specializes in slow, immersive, multi-country European travel — the kind of trip where you learn to make pasta from an Italian grandma, take a private castle tour in France, or spend a truly unhurried week on a Greek island that isn’t Santorini

Together we cover almost anything you could want to book, and we cover it with an uncommon advantage: we bring real working-life skills, faith, and a whole lot of curiosity to every itinerary.

Planning a trip can feel overwhelming. We get it. Between Mike’s master-plumber precision and Sue’s people-reading instincts, we walk you through every step. We’ll pray over your plans, work through the details, and cheer you on from the first “what if” to the boarding pass.
